Half of the program will be devoted to common diseases and conditions that may affect the outcome of an office sedation or light general anesthesia.
Four new talented lecturers will be introduced and present: diabetes, organ transplant recipients, obesity, snoring, pediatric assessment before anesthesia, pediatric open airway technique, pediatric mishaps, cardiac arrythmias.
Two older seasoned lecturers will cover: pulnonary conditions, reactive airway disease, risks and bad judgment, standards of care, cardiovascular physiology, several case examples and principles of medicine applicable to anesthesiology.

 

Continuing Education Credit:

The ADSA is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider and an Accepted National Sponsor (#218597) for FAGD/MAGD Credit. Both the Las Vegas General Anesthesia course and Minimal & Moderate Sedation course offer 16 hours of CE and include breakfast, lunch and breaks. The Las Vegas Assistant course offers 12 hours of CE credit and includes one lunch and all breakfasts and breaks.
